Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking an Automation/Controls Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in Sherman, TX. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing automated systems including PLCs, HMI interfaces, and robotic-powered lines, with a strong safety culture and CMMS documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in industrial maintenance with automation emphasis, understands Allen Bradley PLCs, and holds a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience with a focus on automation and controls.
• Experience reading electrical/mechanical blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with PLCs and electrical/electronic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and predictive maintenance on automated equipment to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with engineering and procurement.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Support Industry 4.0 IoT solutions and OEE metrics on equipment.
