Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER ESS division in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A for the 2nd shift. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining machines and equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include diagnosing breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, fabricating parts when needed, and maintaining accurate reports. Overhead crane operation and LOTO protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant job experience.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, TX facility only.

Responsibilities

• Identify the cause and complete repair of unexpected breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical components and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Fabricate new and/or replacement metal parts for equipment.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Oversee lockout/tagout protocols for safety and energy control.
