Job summary

Grundfos in Brookshire, TX is seeking an APU Team Lead to manage a production team on a 2nd shift, onsite. You will drive safety, quality and continuous improvement while coordinating training and lean initiatives. A strong background in leading manufacturing teams and reading drawings is required.

You will monitor KPIs, resolve bottlenecks and support staffing, ensuring a seamless production flow to meet daily build plans and uphold Grundfos Production System goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating teams in manufacturing/production.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings with practical mechanical aptitude.
• Strong multitasking ability and sense of urgency to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work second or third shift.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks on daily and strategic levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members on work procedures, safety, lock-out and ergonomic practices.
• Ensure continuous production flow by identifying bottlenecks and tracking KPIs (OPR, TPM, 5S, safety, quality).
• Coordinate training and cross-training plans to build team capability and assist staffing.
• Inspect work areas for safety hazards and resolve safety/ergonomic issues.
• Drive quality standards by verifying standard work and participating in MRB.
• Support Lean initiatives and production system improvements.
