Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a dedicated Facility Janitor for our Brookshire, Texas site. You will maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with EH&S standards and supporting production teams.

This onsite role requires proactive cleaning, waste separation, and efficient use of cleaning tools to sustain high workplace standards. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of manufacturing cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety guidelines, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in facility cleaning within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of factory cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety guidelines for chemical cleaners.
• Ability to take and follow written and oral instructions with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect building interiors including floors, restrooms, windows, walls, desks, door handles, and office equipment.
• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment while maintaining outdoor grounds and emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and place orders for new products as needed.
• Properly segregate and label waste (hazardous, recyclable, general) and follow environmental procedures for spill response and material handling.
• Report all hazards, incidents, and environmental concerns immediately and complete all required EHS training.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and lean initiatives while shutting down equipment properly to reduce energy and water use.
