Job summary

Grundfos is seeking an AP U Team Lead for our Brookshire, TX facility. You will lead and develop a production team on safety, quality and continuous improvement, ensuring smooth flow and meeting daily targets on the 2nd shift onsite.

You will coach on proper procedures, read drawings, identify bottlenecks, and track KPIs while coordinating training and staffing. A forklift license and lean experience are a plus. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings with practical aptitude.
• Strong multitasking ability with a sense of urgency.
• Flexibility with work hours including second/third shift.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools (5S, TPM).
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with MRB processes and quality disposition procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members on work procedures, safety protocols, lock-out procedures, and ergonomic practices while ensuring standard work.
• Ensure continuous production flow by identifying bottlenecks and tracking KPIs to meet the daily build plan.
• Coordinate training and cross-training plans with staffing and workforce planning.
• Inspect work areas for safety hazards and support problem-solving for accidents or near misses.
• Drive quality by verifying standard work and participating in MRB processes to contain scrap.
• Support GPS initiatives and ignite Lean strategy by delivering improvements.
