Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older and a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• “2 years of professional aviation, mechanical, industrial, or maintenance experience or completion of aviation school is required.”
• “Experience in performing maintenance on components in an MRO environment is preferred.”
• “A&P license or FAA Power Plant Rating is preferred. In lieu of holding an A&P or P license, must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate by satisfying the requirements as called out in the FAR.”
• “Forklift certification is preferred.”
• “Must pass a criminal background check,”

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance duties on aircraft engines, accessories, and components in accordance with SAC Repair Station Manual, SAC Quality Manual, Customer SOPs, and applicable technical data.
• Using AeroTrac ERP system and company internal paperwork, accurately document the completion of maintenance performed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Safe operation of the overhead crane
• Complete and maintain Forklift Certification in accordance with company standards
• Correct and safe use of specialty tools, torches, and chemicals as directed
• Perform FOD inspections daily
• Works to production schedule as directed by manager/lead
• Communicates with manager/lead to recommend changes to increase efficiency
• Attends all safety and health training
• Maintains a clean workstation free from FOD
• Maintains a clean/safe workspace free from spills
• Travels as required
• Observes and practices all safety procedures and personal policies
• Other duties as required
