Job summary

Segers Aero Corp is looking for an Inspector to work 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 2pm to midnight) in Fairhope, AL. Responsibilities include conducting detailed inspections of gas turbine engine and propeller components according to technical data.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of aviation inspection experience, and be knowledgeable in precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least one year of relevant aviation inspection experience is required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Completes detailed inspections of gas turbine engine components.
• Examines material for surface defects and rejects defective parts.
• Maintains accurate records of inspections.

Skills

Knowledge of precision measuring instruments

Familiarity with engine components and inspection techniques

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Proficiency in ERP and production software

Exceptional eye-hand coordination

Education

High School Diploma or GED

FAA Power Plant license or relevant knowledge
