Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation in Fairhope, AL is hiring a Test Cell Mechanic for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2pm–12am with paid lunch). You will perform maintenance on aircraft engines, accessories, and components, and document work using AeroTrac ERP.

The role requires 2 years aviation/mechanical experience or completion of aviation school, forklift certification preferred, and a willingness to work overtime as needed. A&P license is preferred; DOT/FAA drug testing applies.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to use AeroTrac ERP system and company paperwork.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate with PPE as required.
• Must pass DOT/FAA drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on aircraft engines, accessories, and components per manuals and data.
• Document maintenance completion accurately using AeroTrac ERP and paperwork.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and adhere to safety policies.
• Operate overhead crane and maintain forklift certification.
• Assist with production scheduling and provide improvement recommendations.
