Job summary

TEL Staffing & HR is seeking an Engine Mechanic in Fairhope, AL to perform maintenance on aircraft engines, accessories and components. You will document work in AeroTrac ERP and maintain a safe, organized workplace.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in aviation/mechanical maintenance or aviation schooling, and are comfortable with tooling, safety procedures, and following production schedules. DOT/FAA drug screens and ITAR/EAR verifications apply; forklift cert is plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of professional aviation, mechanical, industrial or maintenance experience or completion of aviation school.
• A&P license or FAA Power Plant Rating preferred; Repairman Certificate by FAR possible if not held.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Pass criminal background check and FAA/DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• US citizenship or permanent residency verifications to satisfy ITAR/EAR.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft engines, accessories, and components.
• Document maintenance using AeroTrac ERP and company paperwork.
• Maintain a safe, clean workstation and follow safety policies.
• Operate the overhead crane and forklift within certification scope.
• Use precision tools and GSE to perform tasks per manuals and data.
• Contribute to production schedule challenges and efficiency improvements.
• Attend safety trainings and comply with OSHA PPE requirements.
• Observe FOD and toolbox inspections daily.
