Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation in Fairhope, AL is seeking an Engine Mechanic for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 2pm–midnight) to perform maintenance on aircraft engines and components. The role requires adherence to SOPs, documentation in AeroTrac ERP, and strict safety practices. A&P or FAA credentials are preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of aviation/mechanical experience or completion of aviation school.
• A&P license or FAA Power Plant Rating preferred; Repairman Certificate allowed by FAR.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Background check and FAA pre-employment drug screen required.
• ITAR/EAR verifications may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft engines, accessories, and components per manuals.
• Document maintenance using AeroTrac ERP and paperwork.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and practice safety procedures.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift as needed.
• Perform FOD inspections daily and assist in tool control.
• Work to production schedule and communicate improvements.
• Travel as required.
