Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation in Fairhope, AL is seeking a Prop Mechanic for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2pm-midnight, four 10-hour days) to perform maintenance on aircraft and engine accessories per SOPs.

Responsibilities include inspecting, disassembling, tooling, and preparing parts for routing, plus documenting all work and maintaining safety standards. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with 2+ years of aviation maintenance experience or aviation school; A&P license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A&P license or FAA power plant rating preferred.
• 2 years of aviation/mechanical maintenance experience or completion of aviation school.
• 3 years maintenance experience in an MRO environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on customers' aircraft and engine accessories following company policies and SOPs.
• Inspect and disassemble components per overhaul manual and procedures.
• Log inspections and create accurate reports in the required software.
• Prepare components for routing and final inspection with proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and proper PPE compliance.
• Travel as required and support continuous improvement efforts.
