Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation in Fairhope, AL, seeks a Prop Mechanic on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2pm–midnight) to perform aviation component maintenance per SOPs and OHMs. The role requires meticulous inspection, tooling, and safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

You will log inspection data, prepare parts for routing, and participate in final calibrations and packaging for shipment, with a competitive benefits package and paid lunch.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional aviation, mechanical, industrial, or maintenance experience or completion of aviation school.
• 3 years of maintenance in an MRO environment preferred.
• A&P license or FAA Power Plant Rating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft and engine accessories following SOPs and Repair Station Manual.
• Disassemble components per overhaul manual using correct tooling and procedures.
• Log inspection results, prepare components for routing, and ensure proper identification and paperwork for final inspection.
