Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Assembler I - 2nd Shift to join our Riverside, CA team. The role involves interpreting blueprints, assembling honeycomb and composite components, and operating various machines on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and obtaining information from blueprints, planning sheets, standard work sheets, and other similar documents.
• Experience with safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determines methods and sequence of work operations from blueprints, operations planning, engineering orders, specifications, etc.
• Locates, fits, tapes and coordinates core and detail parts.
• Trims, burnishes, files, forms, reforms, fits, locates, drills and reams to close tolerances, countersinks, counter bores, clamps, bolts and rivets on structural members and components.
• Operates programmed and/or manually controlled drivematic-type machines.
