Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a mechanical/electro-mechanical assembler for 2nd shift in Phoenix. You will read blueprints, operate tools, and perform quality checks to keep production moving and compliant with specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may prefer IPC Class III soldering certification, plus prior experience in aerospace or electronic assembly. Onsite work with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• IPC Class III soldering certification preferred.
• Experience with electronic assembly and aerospace industry preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, drawings, specifications, and materials lists.
• Operates hand and electrical tools, measuring devices, and light machinery.
• Maintains inventory in workstations to ensure production flow.
• Performs quality checks and records defects accurately.
• Reworks and repairs assembled equipment per engineering changes.
