Job summary

Highrise AI is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to provide 24x7 oversight of AI/ML infrastructure. You will combine experience in high-stakes environments with a strong customer-facing approach to rapidly triage issues and communicate updates.

The role covers monitoring, incident management, and collaboration with SRE for fleet management across multiple data centers. Hybrid or remote work is available depending on location; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience supporting customers using network/compute infrastructure at scale in 24x7 environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide low-latency, context-aware direct customer support to ensure Highrise customers get the most from our infrastructure.
• Manage impacts to compute, storage, and network resource pools to meet SLA commitments.
• Help drive customer-driven workflow by aiding in the triage of inbound cases.
• Provide timely updates on incidents, and escalation when necessary.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, standards, and runbooks for your focus area.
• Aid SRE in fleet management including firmware and configuration upgrades and orchestration of planned maintenance.
• Bring the voice of the customer to product and platform teams to ensure we deliver the services and features they need.
