Job summary

Highrise AI is seeking a Network Engineer to scale and protect our GPU-heavy AI compute infrastructure. You will support 24x7 operations across multiple data centers, focusing on performance, reliability, and on-call incident response for HPC AI workloads.

The role emphasizes automation, observability, and collaboration with NOC, SRE, and development teams. Travel to data centers is expected; hybrid or remote work based on location.

Qualifications

• College diploma or degree in CS or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing network infra at scale in 24x7 environments.
• 2+ years in modern private cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, NSX or similar SDN.
• Scripting or automation experience; basic database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline NOC support and on-call rotation
• Resolve network faults with low latency in production
• Lead incident management and prevention actions
• Collaborate with NOC/SRE to improve observability
• Work with development teams to automate tasks
