Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Security Dispatcher to serve as the central hub for security communications. You will monitor multi-line systems, relay critical information, and support emergency responses while maintaining logs and coordinating with external agencies.

The starting rate is $22.00 per hour, with duties spanning camera monitoring, incident response, and investigations. Join a team focused on guest safety and smooth operations across the property.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Customer service experience) preferred.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cameras, access control systems, and alarm panels to identify threats and respond quickly.
• Coordinate and direct security officers to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance across the property.
• Maintain coordination with the Global Security Operations Center.
• Operate radios and telephones to relay critical information between security, management and other departments.
• Keep accurate real-time logs of communications, incidents, and security activities.
• Follow established emergency protocols and coordinate with local authorities.
• Liaise with law enforcement, EMS, and external agencies as needed during incidents.
• Own dispatch calls for service, including security and lost-and-found, and ensure prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Assist investigations by locating and retrieving video footage for evidence review.
