Job summary

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is seeking a Security Dispatcher to manage and document emergency and non-emergency requests, using radio and dispatch systems to coordinate security teams and outside agencies.

Under the Security Shift Manager, you will read, input, and relay information, determine unit deployments, monitor alarms, and maintain logs while communicating with guests and staff in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year of experience in handling calls or dispatch
• Strong ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
• Knowledge of radio broadcasting and dispatch procedures is preferred

Responsibilities

• Receives and dispatches calls for Palms and Palms Place, maintaining contact with Security Officers
• Uses multiple communications systems to coordinate with law enforcement and other departments
• Accurately logs and relays information to the database and supervisors
• Determines units to dispatch based on time, location and hazard level
• Monitors alarms, access control, and radio frequencies; documents transmissions
• Provides directions to team members and responders including police and fire departments
• Maintains professionalism and communications with guests and staff during emergencies
