Job summary

Serrato Corporation in Detroit, MI is seeking a Residential Advisor who will plan, supervise, and coordinate residential living operations during the assigned shift. Must be available to work any shift and day of the week due to a 24/7 operation.

You will screen, interview, and recommend hiring of RAs, provide training, schedule assignments, maintain logs, and ensure safety and student development. The role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced residential setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Basic computer skills including email, internet, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Control movement of students between dormitories.
• Distribute dormitory supplies.
• Track dormitory performance related to incentives and retention.
• Screen, interview, and recommend hiring of RAs.
• Report to the Residential Living Manager on operations.
• Schedule assignments and supervise RA performance.
• Maintain dormitory activity logs.
• Provide student instruction in residential living skills.
• Ensure a safe and healthful work environment.
