Job summary

Continental Tire the Americas, LLC is seeking a maintenance leader for a 24/7 manufacturing facility in the United States. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and cost-effective equipment performance, driving uptime improvements and preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and leading teams of maintenance professionals, coordinating with operations and engineering to upgrade equipment and manage capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, reliability engineering, asset management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing large budgets, maintenance planning, and capital projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and develop employee capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance operations for a 24/7 manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective equipment performance.
• Drive improvements in equipment uptime and plant reliability through disciplined maintenance execution.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, shutdowns, and TPM-based maintenance initiatives.
• Manage annual maintenance budgets, CAPEX requests, and resource allocation to achieve objectives.
• Optimize spare parts inventory, warehouse operations, and asset management processes.
• Champion RCM, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and TPM maintenance practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, planners, engineers, and technicians.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and project teams to support upgrades and new equipment installations.
• Foster accountability, safety, reliability, and continuous improvement with a long-term focus on zero repeat breakdowns.
