Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities for facility, equipment, and fleet (where applicable). You will lead safety programs, drive reliability initiatives, and manage multi-shift teams to ensure uptime and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of manufacturing equipment, and experience directing preventive, predictive, and urgent repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety in the department and ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC and local regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment, utilities, MHE, and facility systems to improve reliability.
• Provide leadership and coaching to maintenance and operations staff; develop multi-shift maintenance teams.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and coverage for two shifts, weekends, and on-call emergencies.
• Control budgets, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement and root cause analyses.
