Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Centennial, CO is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide Tier 1 and 2 support in a 24/7 operations environment supporting defense communications and secure networks. The role involves troubleshooting Windows, networking, VPNs, DNS, and incident management.

Required: Bachelor's degree and active Secret Clearance, 2+ years of experience, strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work assigned shifts in a fast-paced operations center.

Qualifications

2+ years of Tier 1/2 technical support experience.
Experience supporting Windows environments and networking.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, applications, networking, and connectivity issues.
Manage incidents via phone, ticketing, and monitoring systems and ensure timely resolution.
Troubleshoot Windows systems, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, and secure communications.
Document troubleshooting steps and escalate complex issues as needed.
Support mission operations and SIL activities as required.
