Job summary

IP Pathways is seeking a NOC Technician to join our 24/7 Network Operations Center team. You will troubleshoot and remediate network and system incidents, respond to after-hours client calls, and escalate to engineering as needed.

Schedule requires weekend and weekday shifts with some holiday coverage. Ideal candidates have IT support experience in an MSP setting, basic networking knowledge, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field strongly preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of one year of IT support, help desk, or related technical role.
• Engineer-level or Vendor certification preferred (MCSE, CCNP, MCITP).
• Basic understanding of networking/troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-client support: troubleshoot and resolve client requests (network security, VPN, DNS, switching, servers).
• Monitor networks and systems using remote management tools.
• Support cloud and data center operations: backups, anti-spam/anti-virus, DNS, virtualization.
• Log, categorize, prioritize, and diagnose incidents; ensure SLAs are met.
