UCSF Network Field Services is responsible for providing the physical layers one and two of OSI model support for UCSF's IT ecosystem. The Field team handles onsite requests, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of network equipment and related facilities across campus and affiliates.

The Network Field Services Technician will ensure UCSF's IT infrastructure remains operable, secure, and efficient, supporting medical and research missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Valid California driver's license and UCSF transportation course required.
• 1 year of IT/network services experience; 3 years preferred.
• Technical knowledge of computer hardware/software and network concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with technical and non-technical staff.
