Job summary
Brightstar Lottery in Lansing, MI is seeking a Computer Operator to keep our enterprise systems running around the clock and to support development, systems integration, and lottery operations teams. You will monitor systems in a 24/7 environment, execute daily checklists, generate reports, identify issues, assist in recovery efforts, and work with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless service.
The role requires either an associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field or
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
- OR equivalent experience with at least 2 years in a related technical role.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Brightstar’s enterprise systems in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Support product development, systems integration, and lottery operations teams.
- Execute daily operational checklists and ensure tasks are completed accurately.
- Generate and review reports to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.
- Identify and escape system issues quickly and effectively.
- Assist in system recovery efforts to restore normal operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless service delivery.
