Job summary

The Sunray Companies are seeking a Front Desk Agent for Hampton Inn in McComb, MS. As the first touchpoint for guests, you will deliver a warm, personalized welcome, handle check-ins, and provide information about local attractions.

You will maintain professional appearance, follow policies, and assist guests with requests; the role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Shift flexibility/availability (open 24 hours/day) including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Good computer and phone skills.
• Ability to handle transactions in an accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, finish daily checklist, and log guest mail, faxes, packages, and lost & found items.
• Assist in blocking of reservations and processing cancellations.
• Inform guests about hotel services, directions, room rates and amenities.
• Operate and/or explain TDD operation for guests.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
