Job summary

Frontmatec is seeking an experienced Help Desk Technician to join our growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers with Frontmatec equipment.

You will take SOS calls, provide 24/7 support, ensure health and safety standards on site and in the factory, assist startups or upgrades, and program electrical updates. You will support QA and product development, test factory equipment, and contribute to automation improvements.

Qualifications

• PLC hardware and programming experience.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens plc systems.
• Proficiency with electrical control software tools.

Responsibilities

• Take SOS calls and solve problems.
• Participate in 24/7 customer support.
• Ensure health and safety standards on site and in factory (OSHA/OHSA).
• Support installation or service teams during startups or upgrades.
• Develop and install updates for electrical programs and plans.
• Program components from spare parts and provide QA support.
• Collaborate on product development with various departments.
