Job summary

Hy-Tek is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to maximize customer satisfaction by performing field service operations, remote troubleshooting, and on-site support for innovative automation systems. The role includes maintenance, installation support, and participation in R&D projects to develop new solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mechanical, electrical, or programming work related to automation, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical and/or programming experience with automation preferred.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional image to customers and vendors.
• Perform system troubleshooting and resolution for innovative systems (AMR, G2P, P2G, etc).
• Provide mechanical, electrical and/or programming troubleshooting.
• Perform planned maintenance procedures as scheduled.
• Assist in small scope mechanical installation.
• Participate in installation supervision, system controls and/or system programming procedures.
• Adhere to safety rules.
• Contribute to R&D for innovative solutions.
