Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Failure Analysis Equipment Technician to respond to tool alarms, diagnose issues, and maintain high tool availability in a 24/7 high-volume lab.

You will assist with new tool installation, lab startup, and instrument commissioning, while collaborating with engineers on continuous improvement and workflow optimization in a cleanroom environment at our Phoenix facility.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in science or related field.
• Basic PC skills with Windows OS and MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with maintenance and inventory tracking.
• Preferred: hands-on semiconductor lab or cleanroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tool alarms and recover equipment to meet production needs.
• Diagnose issues using SOPs and coordinate with vendors for advanced repairs.
• Assist with lab startup, tool hookup, and SAT activities.
• Coordinate with Facilities and contractors on utilities and layout.
• Perform safety walks and uphold PPE and 6S housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement projects and routine production activities.
