Job summary

Core Scientific, Inc. seeks a Command Center Specialist in Austin, TX to monitor data center operations, respond to incidents, and communicate critical events across teams 24/7.

You will maintain incident records, dashboards, and shift logs while coordinating with on-site staff and leadership to ensure operational continuity and timely escalation per SOPs. Strong communication and ITIL familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant data center, Command Center, or operational support experience required.
• Experience with operational monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure event coordination within a data center or Command Center environment required.
• Understanding of ITIL service delivery concepts, preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center systems, incidents, and alerts; maintain accurate communication and documentation across Command Center operations.
• Monitor operational metrics related to power, system performance, and digital asset operations.
• Support incidents, service requests, and change activities; escalate per procedures.
• Document operational incidents; coordinate timely communication with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain incident records, logs, and shift documentation to support visibility and reporting.
