Core Scientific, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Command Center Specialist to monitor dashboards, datacenters, and incidents while communicating impactful events to clients and leadership.
You will surveil operations, respond to security issues, document incidents, coordinate with on-site teams during emergencies, and help improve SOPs in a fast-paced data center environment during night shifts.

The Command Center Specialist is responsible for monitoring all dashboards, datacenters, incidents, changes, while documenting and communicating all impactful events to the client as well as leadership.
The Command Center Specialist is also responsible for surveillance of operations and will need to communicate day‑to‑day security issues, respond to and address security issues as they occur, and communicate and create detailed documentation of all incidents.
Reports To: Manager, Command Center
Location: Austin, TX – Onsite
Travel: Minimal travel between data centers may be required as needed.
Work Environment: This job operates in a data center, office, and shop environment. This role routinely uses standard maintenance equipment, including ladders, scissor lifts, forklifts, power tools, and voltmeters. While performing these duties, the employee will be exposed to hot and cold environments.
Physical Demands: Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, night shift position, 12‑hour shifts (3 days on, 4 days off; 4 days on, 3 days off).
Supervisory Experience: None.
