Job summary

Baystate Health in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Part-Time Client Service Specialist to join the Operator Services team at 361 Whitney Ave. You will handle 24/7 communications, triage requests, and relay messages for patients, families, and staff.

This role supports emergency response by activating code teams and stat pages under supervision; hours are 32 per week, schedule 10:30am–7pm, second shift, with holidays.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of customer service or telephone operator experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively triage and relay information.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage incoming and operator-assisted calls using approved processes.
• Assess requests and provide accurate and timely triage and assistance.
• Relay messages received from or sent to customers in a timely manner.
• Provide paging services for internal and external clients.
• Activate emergency code teams, disaster response teams, and stat pages under supervision.
• Provide courteous assistance and support to patients, visitors, staff, and internal customers.
