Job summary

WinCo Foods in Idaho is hiring a Self-Checkout Attendant to provide friendly service at check stands, SCO lanes, or the customer service desk. You will process transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment and help customers locate products and pricing.

Ideal candidates are reliable, have strong cash-handling and communication skills, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided; shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling ability.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Able to operate check stand equipment and SCO lanes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly, cooperative attitude.
• Operate check stands, scanners, and scales to process orders.
• Engage in suggestive selling and maintain accuracy in transactions.
• Handle cash, checks, and coupons in accordance with policies.
• Keep the check stand area clean, stocked and safe.
