Job summary

WinCo Foods, LLC is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient service at our 24/7 retail locations. You will process transactions at check stands or SCO lanes, handle cash and payments, and assist customers with pricing and product locations.

Expect shifts from early morning to late night, with occasional weekend coverage. Must be 16+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs; training emphasizes safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally; up to 20 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly, cooperative attitude.
• Operate check stand equipment to process transactions accurately.
• Engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques.
• Process cash, checks, gift certificates, coupons, and refunds following policy.
• Maintain knowledge of product location, pricing, and UPCs.
• Keep check stand and SCO area clean, stocked, and safe.
