Job summary

WinCo Foods in Moses Lake is seeking a dependable Self-Checkout Attendant to join our 24/7 retail team. You will greet customers, operate check stands and SCO lanes, handle cash transactions, and help shoppers find products while maintaining a clean, safe checkout area.

This role requires strong customer service, accuracy, and the ability to work varied shifts including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, cooperative service to customers.
• Process monetary transactions accurately and follow cash-handling policies.
• Assist customers at self-checkout and service areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product locations and pricing.
• Operate and troubleshoot check stand equipment.
• Follow laws for sale of restricted items (tobacco, alcohol).
• Support store operations during peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and thank customers with a friendly attitude.
• Operate two-aisle check stands and SCO lanes.
• Engage in suggestive selling.
• Process monetary transactions including cash and other payment forms.
• Maintain knowledge of product locations and pricing.
• Keep check stands neat, stocked and safe.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; may work at customer service counter.
• Follow all laws concerning tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure safety and security in the work area.
