WinCo Foods is hiring a Self-Checkout Attendant to deliver friendly service at our 24/7 retail locations. You will process cash and card transactions, assist customers at check stands and self-checkout lanes, and help maintain accurate pricing and safe work areas.

The role requires stamina for long shifts and the ability to handle fast-paced lines. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong customer service, cash handling, and communication skills, with the ability to follow policies on

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Friendly, courteous relations with customers and coworkers.
• Communicate effectively for customer service tasks.
• Complete written forms and maintain accurate records.
• Read product information and PLU codes, handle transactions accurately.
• Lift and maneuver objects up to 50 lbs occasionally; up to 20 lbs frequently.
• Operate check stand equipment including cash registers, scanners and scales.
• Stand or sit for long periods; endure fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, cooperative service to customers at checkout or service desk.
• Operate cash registers and scanning equipment; handle payments and refunds.
• Engage in suggestive selling and maintain current product knowledge.
• Ensure accuracy in pricing, transactions and cash handling policies.
• Keep check stands clean, stocked and safe; assist as needed at SCO or service desk.
• Adhere to safety, age-restricted item rules, and company policies.
