Job summary

GSC Wholesale LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated custodian/janitor to keep our warehouse and office areas clean and safe. This full-time, 1st shift role runs Sun-Thurs, starting at 6:00 a.m., with training on the 2nd shift.

You will perform cleaning, floor care, spill cleanup, and safe handling of materials, supporting a clean, organized environment across perishable and frozen storage spaces. Wage is $16/hour plus $1.50 cooler/freezer pay, with benefits from day one.

Responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor - Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
• Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors - Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
• Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
• Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Job Description

• Earn $16 per hour + $1.50 cooler freezer pay

• 1st shift, FT, Sun-Thurs, 6:00 a.m. until completion

• 3100 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77021

Training will be 1-2 weeks on 2nd shift

You will contribute by:
