Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a second shift custodian/janitor to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment at our Hatfield, MA facility. You will perform cleaning tasks across the warehouse and office areas, ensuring floors, restrooms, and common spaces meet high standards.

The role emphasizes safety, physical stamina, and the ability to operate equipment as needed. Paid training, weekly pay, and benefits from day 1 are included where available.

Qualifications

• Attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a clean and safe work environment as custodian/janitor.
• Clean warehouse, office spaces, break areas, windows, and restrooms.
• Maintain housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and waxing floors.
• Safely operate material handling equipment and use pallet jacks when needed.
• Assist with spills and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Collect plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes for disposal.

Job Description

• Earn $19.00 per hour

• Shift - 2nd

• Sunday , Monday , Tuesday, Friday 4pm - 2am

• Location - 95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield , MA

You will contribute by:

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor

• Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms

• Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors

• Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product

• Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.

• Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly

• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
