Job summary

C& S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a full-time Warehouse Janitor in Aberdeen, MD. You will be responsible for cleaning the warehouse, offices, break areas, and restrooms, while maintaining excellent housekeeping and safety standards.

This role requires the use of pallet jacks and equipment for cleaning tasks, and involves lifting and moving products as needed. The position offers a day shift with a freezer-friendly environment, weekly pay, and benefits from day one, including health,

Responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
• Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
• Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors
• Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
• Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
• Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Job Description

You will contribute by:
