Job summary

Vistar is seeking a warehouse associate in Bolingbrook, IL for a first shift role. You will select cases, operate pallet jacks, and prepare orders for shipment, maintaining safety and quality throughout the process.

The position runs Monday through Friday with a 5:00 AM start and end times that vary with daily workload. Day 1 benefits apply, with competitive pay and opportunities for incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 months of warehouse and/or distribution experience
• 3 months of ride-on electric pallet jack experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly
• Able to lift 10–80 pounds occasionally
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments
• Pass pre-employment drug test

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear PPE
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards
• Move pallets on multi-level racks and locate products
• Move stock to loading dock staging area and shrink-wrap if needed
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at shift end
• Perform other duties as assigned
