Job summary

Vistar is seeking a 2nd Shift Order Selector to pick cases and containers from a multi-level warehouse. You will load pallets with an electric pallet jack, wrap and stage completed orders for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 1 pm until finish. Top performers can earn over $30 per hour with a performance incentive, plus competitive benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and keep work area safe.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear required PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and move along multi-level racks to locate products.
• Move order items from slots to pallets and prepare for shipment.
• Transport palletized orders to shipping dock and wrap as needed.
• Complete shift paperwork and secure equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
