Job summary

Vistar is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate for Sunday-Thursday evenings to select cases, load pallets, and prepare orders for shipment using electric pallet jacks in a multi-temperature distribution environment.

Day 1 benefits are provided, with competitive pay ($21.00–$22.25/hr) including shift differential and potential incentives. This full-time role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required.
• 3 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience is preferred.
• 3 months of ride-on electric pallet jack experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-80 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies, perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products according to orders.
• Manually place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks.
• Transport completed palletized orders to shipping dock staging area, wrap if needed.
• Unlatch and recharge batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
