Job summary

Vistar, a Performance Food Group subsidiary, is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator in Bolingbrook, IL. You will handle forklift, pallet jack, and related equipment to move product through receiving, staging, and storage areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 3 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• 3 months of Stand-up Forklift experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, and other equipment.
• Move freight from receiving to storage and replenish pick slots.
• Inspect items for damage and ensure safe handling.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complete paperwork and perform shift end checks.
