Job summary

Tyson Foods in Waverly, NE is seeking a DST Training Facilitator (1st shift) to coordinate and conduct new team member orientation within the Distribution Center. You will ensure training on Tyson policies, safety requirements, forklift operations, and onboarding documentation.

This role requires strong communication, presentation and organizational skills, plus experience in training or facilitation. You will track attendance, manage training records, provide language support as needed, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have completed the 90-day probationary period.
• Previous training or facilitation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Distribution Center operations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate company policies and procedures in English.
• Comfortable presenting to large groups.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new Team Member orientation and onboarding.
• Deliver safety and forklift training.
• Continuously improve orientation and classroom training programs.
• Ensure all new hire documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Track attendance and training records for new team members.
• Assess interpreter needs and coordinate language support when necessary.
• Assist new Team Members with facility acclimation and qualification processes.
• Support additional training and onboarding activities as assigned.
