Winland Foods is seeking a Certified Packaging Team Member / Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Buckner, KY. You will operate, monitor, and maintain packaging equipment, ensuring products are packed to the highest quality standards and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of manufacturing or food production experience, and forklift certification preferred for advanced levels; SAP/IQS/MII/Weaver familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not held.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, case packers, box machines, unscramblers).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly.
• Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep packaging flowing.
• Perform routine operation checks and daily maintenance.
• Ensure proper sanitation after changeovers.
• Inspect products for labeling, alignment, and packaging.
