Winland Foods, Inc. is hiring a Certified Packaging Team Member for the 1st shift in Buckner, KY. You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, monitor processes, and ensure products meet labeling and quality standards.

Expect collaboration in a fast-paced food production setting with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to obtain forklift certification for higher levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, case packers, box machines, unscramblers).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly.
• Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep Packaging flowing.
• Perform routine operation checks and daily inspections, preventive maintenance.
• Inspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging; perform manual packing and palletizing.
• Follow FIFO inventory methods; manage materials and record shipments in SAP.
