Aerotek in Reading, PA seeks a Maintenance Manager for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30PM) to lead the maintenance team in a food manufacturing environment. Salary is $40/hour with full benefits and onsite work.

You will supervise technicians, perform hands-on mechanical/electrical tasks, and coordinate preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability. The role emphasizes leadership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with plant leadership to support production uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in industrial environments.
• Hands-on maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics in production.
• Proficient electrical troubleshooting including three-phase systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support maintenance technicians in a food manufacturing plant.
• Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Diagnose hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and high-level systems to minimize downtime.
• Electrical troubleshooting on three-phase systems and PLCs.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
