Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a direct-hire role in Franklin Park, IL. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and automated machinery in a metal fabrication and coating environment.
1st shift, hourly pay $37-$40, with overtime optional. Responsibilities include PMs on motors, conveyors, hydraulics/pneumatics, reading schematics, and PLC/VFD troubleshooting, while maintaining safety standards and working with a collaborative team in a clean
Qualifications
- 3+ years industrial maintenance electrician experience.
- Experience troubleshooting 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics.
- Hands-on PLC and VFD troubleshooting.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and automated machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Install and repair 120V/240V/480V three-phase power systems.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Use multimeters and amp meters to diagnose issues.
- Install conduit, wiring and control panels for upgrades.
- Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
