Job summary

Aerotek in York, PA seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. The role blends electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support plant operations.

Pay ranges from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, with first and second shifts available. Overtime and weekend work may be required, and benefits are provided. This is an onsite, permanent position located in York, PA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• TIG stainless welding experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Fabrication and machining experience.
• Own basic maintenance hand tools.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Perform electrical repairs, installations, and panel wiring
• Repair motors, drives, conveyors, fryers, and packaging equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs
• Read and use blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Assist with PLC, HMI, and servo motor issues
• Perform TIG stainless welding and equipment fabrication
• Build and modify machinery and machine components
• Maintain inventory and parts usage records
• Follow GMP, food safety, and safety procedures
