Job summary

Pratt Industries – Houston is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with starting pay of $20.05 per hour. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery, maintaining a clean and safe work area while helping meet customer demand and uphold high quality standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging preferred; 6 months in a similar role desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safety & compliance: follow Pratt Industries safety rules and procedures.
• Quality assurance: adhere to GMPs and Pratt's quality procedures to ensure top-quality products.
• Operational efficiency: maximize machine utilization and continuously improve setup times and maintenance needs.
• Training & development: assist in training new team members and cross-train on machines.
• Reporting & maintenance: complete daily production reports and submit maintenance requests.
• Flexibility & teamwork: adapt to overtime/holiday work and collaborate to meet goals.
